Remington, the award recognizes distinguished service on behalf of American pharmacy during the preceding years, culminating in the past year, or during a long period of outstanding or fruitful achievement. 2019 marks the Centennial of the presentation of the first Remington Honor Medal to James Hartley Beal in 1919.
