As pharmacists, it’s important to serve as trusted messengers for vaccine decision-making for their patients. This online learning course presents a panel discussion with experts in the field serving the needs of Hispanic, Latino, and/or LatinX communities. Panelists will address factors that contribute to vaccine confidence and acceptance, how access to healthcare impacts patients’ ability and/or willingness to get vaccinated, and key cultural considerations when working with Hispanic communities. In addition, panelists will offer available resources for pharmacists interested in increasing vaccine confidence within their communities, and present case scenarios to describe research-aligned strategies to increase vaccine confidence.
